The home of our raw materials – quality starts with the use of fresh raw materials.

The Allgäu with its lush green meadows and untouched nature, offers the ideal conditions for the dairy industry. There is a long tradition in this area: Allgäu milk and cheese are famous beyond the German borders. The site chosen for MILEI is therefore not just coincidence, but the most important criterion for high quality. Short distances between local cheese producers and MILEI allow the daily intake of whey – thus guaranteeing freshness.

Most of our high-quality whey is derived from Emmental and Swiss-style cheese manufacturing and is particularly rich in native constituents. MILEI processes these valuable raw materials into high-quality food ingredients, of which some are available in organic quality.
