At MILEI, state-of-the-art technologies guarantee the processing
of highly specialized products. Complex techniques such as
ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis, nanofiltration, chromatography,
isomerisation and freeze drying are used to carefully separate
the sensitive constituents from whey.

Fully automated processing systems guarantee the quality and
safety of MILEI products and at the same time the highest
production efficiency. Leading technologies, partly based
on MILEI inhouse engineering, are the platform for making
customized products. From its very beginning, MILEI was the
pioneer in using newly developed techniques: the first ultrafiltration
system on an industrial scale was built up in the Allgäu. The technology of protein concentration and isolation
has been further developed and provides a solid basis for
innovative products. The latest MILEI product, Molkolac®Instant,
a free flowing and non-hygroscopic permeate powder, offers
important advantages for many applications.
